If you are the host of your conference, we recommend putting together a clear agenda to distribute to your participants prior to the start of the event. Including a copy of the agenda, along with the reminder email, will help ensure it is already recieved by your participants, and will give them a chance to get a sense of what you will be discussing during the live event. Once the conference call begins, it is important to follow that agenda. You want the audience to see that there is a purpose for the meeting, specific topics to be discussed and solutions determined. When guest speakers are present, make sure you delegate and announce their roles ahead of time so the speakers and audience can be fully prepared.
