During a web conference, it is important to "check in" with your audience periodically. Engaging with your audience virtually isn't as hard as it may seem! For example, encourage them to ask questions, provide comments and feedback before, during and after the presentation. This helps to ensure the attendees are attentive, and will provide some insight on how your audience relates and digests your information. If your audience is unresponsive to your attempt to "check in", it can be taken as a sign of uninterest or confusion. It is important to research the outome to improve for next time. As such, make sure to get an idea of your audience’s interest levels throughout the web conference, and adjust your presentation as needed.
