Ari Kestin, President and General Manager
With almost two decades of international experience bringing growth and profitability to telecommunication and technology companies, before he joined Onstream Media’s Infinite Conferencing division , Ari Kestin was for six years Director of Corporate Development at Germany-based b+w Electronic Systems GmbH. In addition to forging strategic partnerships in China, Taiwan, Russia and the US, Mr. Kestin managed its subsidiaries in the Ukraine, Poland and Hungary, for which companies he was a board director.
Earlier he served as Managing Director of NETnet UK, where at the age of 23 he oversaw over 140 employees. During his tenure, NETnet achieved substantial growth and profitability and was the first company worldwide to launch its own branded service as a MVNO. Furthermore, under his leadership NETnet became the first of two fixed telecommunication companies to access BT’s local loop.
A 1995 graduate of Duke University, where he earned a degree in comparative area studies, Mr. Kestin was educated in London, New York and Paris. He holds a certificate in French language from the Sorbonne and is likewise fluent in Hebrew and German, as well as comfortable in Arabic. Married and the father of four, Mr. Kestin maintains his primary residence in Switzerland. He chairs Duke’s Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee for that country.
In addition to his role as President of Infinite Conferencing, Ari Kestin is the Executive Vice President and the General Manager of Onstream Media's Webcasting division.
Arlene J. Ross, Chief Administrative Officer
Ms. Ross serves as the Chief Administrative Officer, overseeing the company's Invoicing/Billing activity, Human Resources and other administrative functions. Ms. Ross has more than 25 years of experience as a manager in core business functions including office management, finance, human resources and operations. Ms. Ross holds a B.S. degree from Kent State University.
Omar Maratouk, Vice President of Sales
Mr. Maratouk serves as Vice President of Sales, overseeing the company's Sales & Partner strategies. Mr. Maratouk brings over 16 years experience as a sales and marketing executive, predominantly in the conferencing services industry. Mr. Maratouk is a graduate of Pace University with a degree in Economics.
Michelle Barnes, Vice President of Operations
Ms. Barnes serves as Vice President of Operations, overseeing Infinite Conferencing's Customer Service, Operator and Event Services and Technical Support functions. She has more than 15 years of experience in the teleconferencing business. Ms. Barnes is a graduate of William Paterson University.
Sabrina George, Vice President of Marketing
Ms. George serves as the Vice President of Marketing, overseeing the company's Corporate Advertising and Product Marketing Functions. Ms. George has more than 10 years of experience in direct marketing and is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg.
Julie Glazer, Direct Sales Manager
Ms. Glazer serves as the Direct Sales Manager and is responsible for overseeing the Inside Sales functions. Julie is a results-oriented professional who brings over 7 years of sales experience. Ms. Glazer is a graduate of Penn State University.
Marc DellaVolpe, Manager of Product Development
Mr. DellaVolpe serves as the Manager of Product Development and is responsible for software development functions. Mr. DellaVolpe has more than 5 years of software development experience and is a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Executive Management
Randy S. Selman
Since our inception in May 1993, Mr. Selman has served as our Chief Executive Officer, President, and a director and from September 1996 through June 1999 and from August 1 through December 15, 2004, as our Chief Financial Officer. From March 1985 through May 1993, Mr. Selman was Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of SK Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: SKTC), a publicly-traded software development company. SKTC developed and marketed software for point-of-sale with complete back office functions such as inventory, sales analysis and communications. Mr. Selman founded SKTC in 1985 and was involved in their initial public offering in 1989. Mr. Selman's responsibilities included management of SKTC, public and investor relations, finance, high level sales and general overall administration.
Alan M. Saperstein
Mr. Saperstein has served as our Executive Vice President, Treasurer and a director since our inception in May 1993, and has been our Chief Operating Officer since December 2004. From March 1989 until May 1993, Mr. Saperstein was a free-lance producer of video film projects. Mr. Saperstein has provided consulting services for corporations that have set up their own sales and training video departments. From 1983 through 1989, Mr. Saperstein was the Executive Director/Entertainment Division of NFL Films where he was responsible for supervision of all projects, budgets, screenings and staffing. Clifford Friedland
Mr. Friedland was re-appointed as a member of our board of directors in April 2011. His initial appointment was in December 2004 and he continued as a board member until his resignation from the board in June 2010, although he continued as Senior Vice President, Business Development. Mr. Friedland’s voluntary resignation was to restore our board to the required majority of independent members, following the death of another board member. From June 2001 until the closing of the Onstream Merger in December 2004 he had served as Chairman, CEO and co-founder of privately held Onstream Media Corporation. Mr. Friedland was Vice President of Business Development and co-founder of TelePlace, Inc., a developer and owner of Internet data centers and central offices from December 1999 to May 2001. Mr. Friedland was co-founder, Chairman and co-CEO of Long Distance International, Inc., one of the first competitive European telephone operators from May 1993 to December 1999. Mr. Friedland was President of Clifford Friedland Inc., a technology consulting firm, from January 1991 to April 1993. Mr. Friedland was a Director and co-founder of Action Pay-Per-View, a pay per view cable channel from January 1988 to December 1990. Mr. Friedland was President and co-founder of Long Distance America, one of the first competitive long distance operators after the breakup of AT&T from June 1984 to December 1987. Mr. Friedland was Vice President and co-founder of United States Satellite Systems, Inc., an FCC licensed builder and operator of geosynchronous communications satellites from April 1981 until December 1983. Mr. Friedland was Director and co-founder of United Satellite Communications, Inc., the world’s first direct-to-home satellite network from April 1981 until May 1984.
David Glassman
As CMO, Mr. Glassman is responsible for leading Onstream Media’s global marketing efforts including branding, product marketing, corporate communications, public relations, online marketing and customer relationship marketing. Prior to Onstream Media, he was an officer and cofounder of the following companies: TelePlace, Inc., a developer and owner of Internet data centers and central offices; Long Distance International, Inc., one of the first competitive European telephone operators; Long Distance America, one of the first competitive long distance operators after the breakup of AT&T; United States Satellite Systems, Inc., an FCC licensed builder and operator of geosynchronous communications satellites; United Satellite Communications, the world's first direct-to-home satellite network and All American Hero, Inc., the 15th largest growing company ranked by Inc. 500 in 1985.
Robert Tomlinson
Mr. Tomlinson became the Chief Financial Officer of Onstream Media in December 2004, after joining the company as Vice President of Finance in September 2004. Mr. Tomlinson started his financial and accounting career in 1977 with the international accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. In 1982, he left that firm to join international aircraft manufacturing and support firm Embraer at their U.S. subsidiary in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While at Embraer, Mr. Tomlinson managed all financial functions and eventually was named Senior Vice President of Finance and a member of the U.S. firm’s Board of Directors. Mr. Tomlinson left Embraer in 1994 and joined staffing and human resource firm OutSource International as their Chief Financial Officer, helping to take the company public in 1997. Mr. Tomlinson has held an active Certified Public Accountant license since 1978.
